InStep2Souls + EBSQ Friday Five + New Pottery

a Goodwill find
Happy Friday everyone! I wanted to share with you a project that I've been working on that just launched today. It's called InStep2Souls: A Journey through Life. I don't know if you have noticed or not, but there are a lot of people that use their cell phones these days to take pictures. And they are shooting everything from eating ice cream, to sunsets and feet. Feet? Yes, feet! or their shoes.

At first I thought this was a silly phenomenon, but it had me thinking about all the people in the world that are living life, day in and day and about their journey through life. Ever since I worked on the boats in Alaska, I love meeting new people from all over the world and listening to their life stories. I thought if I could get people to send me a photo of their feet (with or without shoes on) and tell me a little something about themselves, I could share a piece of THEIR journey with the world.

I invite YOU to partake in this new artistic venture of mine.
Be a part of the JOURNEY through LIFE!

On Wednesday I spoke about the webinar and podcast I took part in a few days ago. My artist friend Amanda Makepeace stopped by and liked what I had to share. She chose the Not So Everyday Blog of an Artist blog to be one of the EBSQ Friday Five blogs to visit this week! Thank you Amanda!

April Showers

It's snowing!!!

I'm so excited to see white fluffy flakes falling from the sky even though I have already started my garden for the summer. I was warned that we may have freezing temperatures until the middle of the month, but with the nice days we've been having, I couldn't help myself. Needless to say, the garden is covered and will hopefully withstand the much needed moisture we are getting today.

Being a Monday, I've been pretty busy in the studio and on the computer. The kiln is loaded and firing both bisque and glazed pieces which will bring more work for tomorrow! But I love every minute of it!

Upcoming News:

***I was interviewed for the EBSQ Facebook Artist of the Week by Amanda Makepeace. It will be published tomorrow, so stop by and check it out!

***I'm working on a very cool collaboration spearheaded by Robin Norgren of Well of Creations with nine creative women. It will be in full swing starting May 1st, but if you're curious, which I know you are, you can check it out here!

the kids are wanting to play, so i'll check in with you all soon!
