 The first week of January is already behind us.

I'm bringing in the new year

with a beautiful view from my studio window this morning.

Some months ago I was reading about terrariums

in one of my favorite gardening magazines.

Ever since, I've been thinking about making

my own. This past weekend I was visiting a

local garden center and found a few  miniture

plants that would work perfectly. Here is a bird's

eye view of what it looks like. Don't be surprised

if you see me making more in the near future!
