I finished a commission this week. Two paintings of Everyday is Laundry Day are going to have new homes in a Canadian showroom for a homebuilder. Just waiting for the paint to dry so I can ship them out. Now I'm finishing up some pottery orders. I'm hoping to get them in the kiln before lunch and maybe go for a little ride this afternoon. =)

It's getting to be that time of year again. People are starting to get ready for the holidays. I've been working on two seperate commissions. One is for 12 ceramic bottles that will be used for oil diffusers and 6 soap dishes. They are all bisqued and ready to be glazed.
The other order is for two 24x24 paintings of Everyday Is Laundry Day. They are being made in acrylics and oil. It's been fun working on this project. I'm doing them both at the same time. My deadline is fast approaching and I'm hoping to have them finished by today. Here is a picture of what the beginning stage looked like. I just placed the colors where they needed to go before applying thicker layers of paint on top of the undercoat. They will be hanging in a showroom in Cananda.
