Breathe Deep

" Breathe Deep"

Detail

Drying

It's the middle of the week, my love is off at work, and my brain is fried due to pathology overload. My paints and brushes were calling my name and I gladly entered the studio. Here is the newest creation, still very wet, but I couldn't wait to share. It's on a 5'3' masonite board which will later be mounted on a 1.5" deep frame. Did I mention it was in oil?

I named it Breathe Deep. It has been a long time since I painted. I have been so consumed by my studies lately that I have neglected my passion. And when this happens I feel lost and tend to be a bit cranky. I noticed that the second I put the brush on the board, I let out a big sigh of relief. I was back in my realm. And Breathe Deep was born.
