| cold messy studio |
Sometimes I find myself in a little frenzy. The house starts getting cluttered, the studio gets messy, pots are piling up that need glazed...and all I want to do is curl up by the fire and watch a good movie. Well, that is exactly what has happened this week. The sad part? It's only Tuesday. Needless to say, I've lost my ambition. If you find it, would you please send it home??? Thanks.

Oh girlfriend, you are not alone! It happens to me too, though it usually feels like I'm stuck in a rut. Give yourself permission to take an extended break, then get back to it! In the meantime, just enjoy your books and movies :) BTW, that studio doesn't look messy to me!!

It happens often to me too...but ya know what, if you have the luxury of spending a day or two with a movie in front of a fireplace, I say don't fight it but enjoy it...most likely if you allow yourself to take a break you'll find your muses again sooner than if you constantly push against needing a break.
